Can I simply insert the SSD with the installed Windows into another PC and then boot directly?

Had a laptop, which is unfortunately broken now. The question now is, if I have gotten another laptop, can I just use the SSD with the already installed Windows, where are the drivers of the broken laptop on it, just start and start normally? Or do I have to reinstall windows?

I would rewrite the Windows because the installed Windows has other chipset drivers installed. If the new laptop is the same chipset, Windows would even start.

If you B. Switched from Intel to AMD, you only get a blue screen and Windows must be reinstalled.

This only works if the hardware is about the same. I did that a few days ago between a gigabyte gaming laptop and my HP Omen laptop. Since it worked with restrictions because the omen does not always recognize the new SSD 1TB to boot.

You can try it by making an image of your old record and then mirroring it on another record.

So if all else fails, then the original hard drive is available and no data can be lost.;)

Yes you can. You only have to 'syspreppen' the system before the conversion, ie with Sysprep. Then shut down, rebuild the board, and reboot in the new device, then install the missing drivers.
