Have a question, have the magenta mobile xl young Telekom bought contract with unlimited data volume. Can I safely give my laptop etc like playstation hotspot without any problems?
Not at your home
What exactly do you usually do with it?
Depends on the contract and how it is defined "unlimited".
You can't replace it at home as a replacement for a DSL connection
OK, and how should that be checked?
You have to look honestly in the small print.
In business, there was a ban on the first unlimited tariffs. You could not use it in a router or as a hotspot. Was monitored by IMEI tracking (at least it was said to be monitored).
But the worst thing that can happen is that the contract is terminated immediately, nothing more happens.
Believe meanwhile, the regulations have loosened here, but I'm not sure.
Ask maybe in a telecom shop if you pass it or les the small print of the tariff.
If you generate very high traffic in your home
But before you have to quit, you really have to exaggerate for weeks because you are one of the customers with whom you exorbitantly high profit margins retract
The traffic restriction would be in principle in today's network as good as no longer necessary
As long as I do not use 500 GB a day.
That you can do all this, but only on the way. Using it at home as landline replacement is not part of the intended use - it is indeed a MOBILfunkvertrag.
