My laptop locks itself what can I do?

I have a problem when I open my laptop and what I do there comes the word "lock" at some point and then my laptop goes off. It has been going for about 3 weeks and I don't know what I can do and I can't do it either Open the setting on the laptop! Does anyone have something going on or an idea what I can do?

Bios reset, take out the battery in the laptop for 5 minutes, maybe that's the solution
