I just have a small problem, my Notebokk (5 months old and actually pretty good) is constantly losing the connection to the Internet or WLAN. Sometimes, just like after 2 minutes, sometimes not at all. It is quite funny, especially since a few weeks ago, everything worked well and nothing of the same occurred. In order to get back to the internet, I have to restart the PC, otherwise it will not show me any internet connections at the bottom of the task list. So when I click on the Symblo, it will not show me a network that's available in the environment, just give me the troubleshooting option or the flight mode.
It also does not matter which WLAN I'm in, whether at home or at the university, after a certain time, I lose the connection to the Internet and then have to restart the PC until I get back to the Internet.
Especially weird is that when I From the university drive and there's still in the wireless, and then I arrive at home, I can't select the new wireless, but I have to restart the PC before he then goes to the wireless.
It's really funny
Energy options or dataset control?
It can't really be that, because I have not changed anything. And I do not know what to look for there
Clean the interface with a lens cleaning cloth.
Which interface? I have no small switch from the last millennium anymore, where you can make Wi-Fi on and off
Somewhere the wireless signal must arrive at the device, so that the laptop can process it. Where exactly?
So I have no visible interface. I have a Lan connection on the side, maybe the signal comes over it. But that would not explain everything, why I come back to the WLAN then, when I restarted my PC. Or why I always have to restart my PC if I want to go into another WLAN. I rather believe that it has something to do with any settings of the SOFTWARE.
Where you are right, you are right. The restart is an argument. Which operating system do you use? Depending on the settings there's a point "Network Connections" where you can see more than when clicking on the taskbar.
There take a look inside, or Create yourself a shortcut to the desktop, so you can look into it, if the icon has disappeared from the taskbar.
And: Get the connection logs. If none are written against expectations, let them write to you. How exactly is, is not to say your information yet.
I use Win 10.
Well! Then it is "Network and Internet" in the settings. Go there once and click through.
You should also be able to call that when the icon has passed. Above all, see the "Troubleshooting" section.
Reset the network settings of your device. Open the command prompt (cmd) as Administrator (right-click => Run as administrator) and execute the following commands:
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
ipconfig / release
ipconfig / renew
ipconfig / flushdns
netcfg -d
Then restart your laptop.
Then press the Windows key + X (from Windows 8) and open the Device Manager via the menu. Alternatively, search through Windows Search for Device Manager.
Open the section "Network adapter", right click on the corresponding network adapter (WLAN) and open the properties. At the top of the navigation, select "Power Management" and uncheck the option "Computer can turn off the device to save power" if it is set there.
