PC or laptop for video editing?

Hi. I would like to buy a PC or laptop for video editing. The fun should not be too expensive. I say the budget would be 1,500 to a maximum of 2,000 euro. The PC shouldn't just be the tower.

It would be cool if the thing is good enough that you can edit the videos without constant jerking or eternal rendering. However, I don't plan to make feature films, but more reportage videos about my art. And to process them with slowmos or other nice effects. So don't think anything really wild in the world of video editing.

However, since I'm now either completely beyond the target in terms of price due to constant research or because I recommend something different to each side and I'm, as it were, just as smart as before. I thought I would just ask here if there's one or the other expert tip. What must that thing have? Or maybe a complete solution?

In any case, something with a fixed and good graphics card would be desirable.

Ya

You simply get more PC performance than laptop performance for your budget!

I would recommend that the box has good RAM (at least 16, better 32 GB RAM)! Graphics card should also be able to do something… But I can't give you any recommendations.

Something like With more RAM, but should be enough:
