I just wanted to buy a laptop through Alternate. But if I want to pay via Paypal then I will be led to the start page of my Konte. I can't do anything there. I repeat this several times with other browsers, but it just does not work.
Are you of legal age?
Are correct dates entered in your Paypal account, esp. Correct date of birth?
Most Paypal problems that are asked in this forum, come from the fact that minors have fraudulently duped with a fake date of birth an unauthorized Paypal account and want to use PayPal unauthorized.
Otherwise, it is often the demand of Paypal after entering the credit card, where many (especially minors) Paypal users fail.
I'm not of age but it's not my Paypal but my dad's.
There are 2 different scenarios. 1st As I said before we come to the pay button and log on to the start page of Paypal and nothing happens. 2. We come to the page where we can select the credit card and use to confirm the payment. After confirming reload the page and it will display the same page only without the previously selected credit card. After we have repeated that we have to add a new bank account / credit card to continue. All previously listed cards are gone.
Since I've hit the bullseye with both points which I immediately suspected in my answer ;-)
To 1.) If that really should be true and not just the usual lame excuse of the little Paypal cheater is:
Also, you may NOT use the Paypal account of your father!
Your father violates the Paypal Terms of Use if he leaves another person - especially a minor - on his account.
To 2) Are you sure that your father really enters his credit card? A real credit card?
Both points can be the cause of the problems.
I myself did not use his Paypal but he himself. But after trying everything he asked me if he was doing something wrong but I do not know myself on Paypal. That's why I'm here.
My dad has shown me that he has often paid over this credit card last payment is 2 weeks ago.
My question was, is it really a real credit card?
And not just an account card.
What is written on this alleged credit card?
What do I have to tell you exactly?
You do not have to tell me anything ;-)
Your father will probably know for yourself if he has a real credit card or if it is just a simple account card.
Is written on the card e.g. What Visa or MasterCard or Maestro or Debit or Girocard…
MasterCard
Prepaid?
No
Then it's a real credit card and usually has to work if Paypal account holders and credit card holders agree and if everything else is correct and in line with the Paypal rules.
We also tried it on Cyberport but it does not work there either. There's an error message immediately that the purchase can't be confirmed.
Normal course. Paypal now assumes that your information is not correct and you are not of legal age, so Paypal now wants to have a credit card deposited by you. If you do not have one and do not care, Paypal has done it for you.
Crash, you hit the mark. Get on it.
"usual lazy excuse of the little Paypal cheaters"
Talk to criminals instead of committing crimes yourself.
