I have to insert a video into my presentation, but i can only access my own date and can't insert a youtue video. That would be no problem, but I make the presentation on another laptop, which has not saved the file. That's why it always says it's not available. How do I do that now?
From my experience, embedding videos is such a thing.
That was already daring at Powerpoint.
Instead, I put a macro with a button on LibreOffice and made a call to VLC with the desired timecode.
The came then as a full picture just before the president and disappeared after the end directly again.
Was wonderful.
If you use another computer, it is advisable to carry all necessary files and programs on USB stick.
How do you do that?
You could use the YT videos for example. Download with a special downloader.

And the VLC (I have never tried such a thing myself):

And with that you could put together such a macro for LibreOffice. (Here I have never worked with macros)
