My graphics card runs when I open a game for the first 20 seconds approximately smoothly and then it starts to lie. I have already downloaded all the latest drivers, the model is a Gtx 1050 4gb. It is installed in a laptop with I7, 16gb ram and 512 SSD. So I don't think it's because of a bottelneck or anything else, but I'm very surprised that it doesn't go according to plan, because I don't play games with particularly high demands.
Would be great if someone could help me with the problem!
What games are you playing? And did you have that before?
For example, Heroes and Generals, Minecraft and Skyrim

Is the 1050 or the IGP of the CPU actually running? Sounds more like IGP.
I'm pretty sure the GPU is running, but how do I check?
Which i7 do you have? Not that the laptop switches to the graphics chip in the CPU in power saving mode.
There's either a key combination or you have to adjust the energy settings in the Windows settings.
