I had to reset my iPhone due to factory settings. Of course I did a backup on my PC, but now my laptop does not have enough space to transfer the backup back to the iPhone. That's why I transferred the very large backup file to my parent's PC using an external hard drive because it has a lot more storage space. I've also made sure to put it in exactly the right place, so in Apple folder, etc. For itunes, the PC finds only the backups of my parents, and not that for my phone. Can someone tell me how to find and run the backup?
Why do not you just make an iCloud backup?
