Itunes does not recognize iPhone 8?

Following problem:
a colleague of mine has a Windows 10 notebook and an iPhone 8.
So far, he could always synchronize the photos via iTunes, but since today (there was a new update for iTunes) this does not work anymore, because iTunes no longer recognizes the phone. It works on another PC.

Well of course I thought it's up to iTunes update, but even on an older version, there's the same problem.

Strangely, when we tested it on another PC (even on the latest iTunes version) a query came to trust the PC and you had to type a code from the iPhone.

In the notebook from colleagues but no code, but only the query.

We have already tried the following:

another USB port
older Itunes version installed
restarted the "Apple Mobile Devices Service"
used another cable
in the Apple ID settings the notebook "forget"
All restarted (several times)

Does somebody still have an idea?

I had that too but with me it started immediately after the restart.

if it is not too expensive I would reset the pc to factory condition.

Have found the solution!
I have in the folder: C: \ Program Files \ Common Files \ Apple \ Mobile Device Support \ Drivers
reinstalled the file usbaapl64.inf (right click install) and then it went again. If you have the same problem, but 32 bit could be the file called usbaapl.inf.
