I absolutely need two licenses for MS Office because I need the same versions on PC and laptop. Office 2010 files will open on Office 2019, but not the other way around. But I can't afford two new licenses. Therefore my question…
The problem with used licenses is that you can withdraw them, which means you buy the key and it is no longer valid.
No, it's best to buy them new and cheap at Instant Gaming or on Lizengo! I also bought my Office 2019 Home & Student license from Instant gaming, it's fast, easy and cheap. Just follow the instructions on the website!

Do you share the documents with anyone other than yourself?
If not:
Use OpenOffice or LibreOffice
does not cost anything
can do at least as much
compatible - even cross-platform
did I say "it doesn't cost anything"?
However, Open Office and Libre Office are far from being as good as Office 2019 and have fewer functions
Daring assertion. Then butter on the fish:
What can Office 2019 do that LibreOffice 6.3.4 can't?
So for yourself, not from the following source here:
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Feature_Comparison:_LibreOffice_-_Microsoft_Office
And woe you say Outlook. Then I'll beat MUAs around your ears until you want to put a free AOL CD in your computer.
Unfortunately I also have to share with others…
E.g. The PowerPoint presentations are of higher quality and give more freedom. I can say this from my own experience! Office is more extensive and in schools, universities… Office is used most often
Practical experience:
At home LibreOffice (Windows and Linux), at work Office 2010. Before October 2020 there may be a change to a newer office - but it may take some time.
The documents are all saved as .docx at work (otherwise they are eliminated by the spam filter, .doc and .xls are rigorously deleted).
Exchange of documents therefore either as a .docx (if you want to work on it) or just as a .pdf (for information and dissemination purposes).
Do you often work on the same documents?
Sometimes I have to share the documents with others…
Times like this, times like this… Depending on how much time I need for it.
Hi! Is it a key or a license?
It's a key for Office 2019, you can only download this product on a PC
I think I need a license for commercial use. Thank you, if I know more, I may come back to your tip.
So I'm relatively certain that there might be one or the other function that libre office and open office do not have, but these are definitely things that almost no one knows and uses.
In the programs mentioned, many functions are simply called licensing differently than in microsoft.
open office or libre office can't only read the microsoft documents, they can also save in appropriate formats.
