When it comes to requirements, it should almost not matter which device you buy. All go for that.
I would first decide what size the screen should have. That determines the mobility and the weight. Too small is stupid, too big too.
For example, I like a 14 inch laptop for on the go, vacation and college. 13 inches would be too small for me. Watch the movie for at home in bed… Is a 15 inches or 17 inches nicer.
Well, otherwise it depends on so soft facts: If the keyboard has a number pad, the screen should have touch or even fold down, so you can use it as a tablet. Of course, the latter is clearly reflected in the price.
Battery life can still be considered… Performance is secondary to the requirements.
Netbooks were once an intermediate invention before the tablet time… They were very small and partly had a very long battery life. But not very powerful and not so good on the screen. I do not know if there are any current ones. The modern form are ultrabooks.
Ersatzoffice is synonymous, the main thing I can save in. Doc, so that others can open my files too…
