A few days ago I asked how to connect an Ethernet connection. So my laptop "finds" the connection, but can't identify the network. Does anyone know what I have to do there?
It suddenly occurs to me that your network is not set to private but rather public.
Are there any restrictions on the router? Has anyone tinkered with it?
There's probably a problem with the router, it is best to restart the router, so briefly power off and after 10 seconds it ran again. It takes about 5 minutes to start the router.

And with the router there are things like MAC filters and other ways to tinker with access.

I can see that one would have to start with the primordial slime. Better get someone who knows about it. It is better to be on site than to do a remote diagnosis. I have with my cousin e.g. Having to remove her antivirus program because she had several and one was so radical that nothing worked. But you can only see that on site.
