So this is intended more for long-time experienced PC technicians: I did hours of research and tried a lot to solve this problem: My PC can't reach the DHCP server, which is why it now simply uses the IP address "169.254.184.220" as automatically takes. I have connected my ethernet cable to the laptop because it has wireless Wi-Fi and I can tap it with the PC with the ethernet cable. But why isn't the DHCP server free? On the PC I did EVERYTHING in the command prompt with administrator rights:
ipconfig / flushdns
ipconfig / release
ipconfig / release6
ipconfig / renew
ipconfig / renew6
ipconfig / flushdns
ipconfig / registerdns
NOTHING works… So I did that on the laptop and I got this message:
ipconfig / renew
Windows IP configuration…
The following error occurred when updating the "Ethernet" interface: A connection to the DHCP server can't be established. Request was canceled due to time overwrite.
No operation can be performed on LAN connection * 1 until the medium is activated.
No operation can be performed on LAN connection * 2 as long as its medium is not connected.
WHAT THE EXCELLENCE SHOULD I DO I HAVE NO MORE TIME!
Have you ever tested another operating system e.g. Linux?
You have to activate the network bridge on the notebook.
https://www.pc-magazin.de/ratgeber/windows-10-netzwerkbruecke-einrichten-anleitung-tipps-3199667.html
No how does that work
Now it says "You must select at least two LAN or high-speed Internet connections that are not used for sharing the Internet connection in order to create a network bridge"
You can create a 2 portion on your hard drive and then install Linux using a stick.
Your laptop is not a router. You would have to configure it as such first.

Why not just use a WLAN stick on the PC instead of LAN?
It worked, now I don't know what:
On the laptop, I went in here: Control Panel> Network and Internet> Network and Sharing Center> Change adapter settings
And then I activated everything in the sharing options of my wireless Wi-Fi, really everything there was still 6 boxes free for the services and I activated them all and then 10 minutes later my PC got internet again. BUT!
The Ethernet STILL HAS THE WRONG IP ADDRESS 169.254 …
Still it works… I don't understand
Don't have any
These things are available on the net for a few euro. Save you trouble! If the network bridge configuration on the laptop doesn't show the Wi-Fi controller, then I don't have any further advice.
If you still have an old DSL router, it could possibly be configured as a router.
Thank you very much for the next time if the poop happens again 🙏
