Windows 10 Home 64bit
CPU: Celeron 4205U 1.80Ghz
RAM: 4GB DRR4 2666Mhz
128GB SSD
I use the laptop for text editing, surfing, emailing
You can upgrade the laptop up to 20 gigabytes when I upgrade the laptop to 8 gigabytes of RAM I notice
difference in idle performance is about 46% of the ram occupied when I open a few pages and open office when the ram is 75-90% full
Upgrading to 8GB would be impressive.
What CPU does your laptop have if I may ask?
It's definitely not worth it, with this computer the processor is the limiting factor, more RAM won't bring you any noticeable extra performance.
Is the question? 🤣
Oh yeah well then it cleared up haha
So if I upgraded the RAM to 8 gigabytes it would not have an impact on performance
With the CPU even if you convert to 8GB
I would not only upgrade to 8 GB but also get a new laptop with AMD Ryzen so Ryzen 3 2200G, Ryzen 5 2400G, Ryzen 3 3200G, Ryzen 5 3400G or a laptop from Aldi with an Intel core i7 processor or i5 processor for example i5 5200U 4 times 3.4 GHz or i7 8750H 8 times 3.1 turbo 4.3 GHz or a new PC

More ram would still help with a ram load of 90%.
