I'm flying abroad for 3 weeks and would like to capture some memories on my trip (rotate videos / take pictures)
However, I can't take my laptop with me to secure it.
Now I have seen that there's also an adapter for SD cards from Apple, which you can connect to the tablet, for example.
Now I wanted to ask if jmd has already had experience with it?
Is it possible to connect your SD card to an iPhone and send the data eg by e-mail in order to secure it?
I thank you in advance for answers!
You can drag the pictures to the Iphone and then send them, no problem.
To send by mail, messages, WA, etc. It does not need external memory, this is directly from the iPhone, with which the recordings were made.
If the internal memory is too small, you could load your stuff into a cloud. More memory for iCloud e.g. Is monthly terminable (in other I do not know), financially perhaps more interesting than extra for a vacation to buy an adapter and an SD card. If on-site Wi-Fi is available of course only. By the way, in this case the iPhone automatically backs up the iCloud anyway, so much for backup. From the cloud you can also share data instead of sending each one individually by email.
If I understand correctly, the SD card reader should be used to send external recordings via the iPhone.
Most cameras today use SD cards.
OK, then I misunderstood that may be.
