As of today, a safety notice appears when I want to watch a movie with PowerDVD. My certificate is said to have expired or is not valid. But when I install the certificate and choose a folder, the same error message appears again. I updated all the drivers, reinstalled PowerDVD, even restarted my laptop and nothing improved. I'm just reaching my limits. And if I click on "exhibitor declaration" I will be directed to a website (Comodo Cybersecurity), but do not know what I have to do there. Only a list with the heading "Repository" appears.
Does anyone know what else I can do? It can't be due to my external DVD player, because I get the same error message if I also want to play the DVD via the drive built into the laptop.
Can you ignore the mistake?
Yes, but always appears when I open the program.
Then install another program like Windows Media Player
I would work around the problem and install the VLC player.
Check your desktop clock. A deviation of more than 15 minutes results in certificate errors. Do you have summer time?
The clock is going right.
