PowerDVD program can't be installed?

I bought an external asus drive for blurays a few months ago. This is the CD for the program PowerDVD at. At the time I installed the program on the laptop by means of a CD, within 40 minutes everything was on it.

I wanted to install it on the PC. However, the install was endless. Habs had gone through all night and he just did not install it to the end. Finally I had to finish it with task manager and delete the fragmented, half-installed files with another program.

habs tried several times but always the same happened.

Why is that?

did someone have the same problem?

Try to copy the contents of the CD to the PC by copy and paste first, and then start the installation of the files on the PC.

Do laptop and PC have the same operating system?

no

Thought that one has then so login data or an online account… What this Power DVD with your notebook or PC while on a CD and you can't install it?
Do I suspect that right?

El

Jep both the same.

El

I'll try if it works

El

No the CD is included with the external drive

no

Maybe the CD is older, that you can no longer install or use it under Windows 10?

El

On the laptop, I also have windows 10 and that worked

st

This is exciting.

How much free memory do you have each still on the installation drive? Are you both registered with the same rights?

and which operating system? Which version exactly? So weiviel byte etc.

El

Windows 10 64 bit.

The pc is only 2 years old. The pc parts are all very good. More precise mpsste I look do not know everything by heart. But memory is still more than enough free it is not.

what do you mean by "the same right"?

But that's it the pc is much fitter than the laptop and still it was only on the laptop.

It may be that you are logged in on one device as an admin and not on the other, but you unlock about as an admin. Or the user account control would be set differently. Or a computer may go to the Internet during the installation, the other not.

Maybe you have a log file somewhere, where the installation writes, what it does? If not, you can still read the log files from Windows 10 (the help helps to find)

El

Nah I'm the admin. Is the only user I have

st

If you would answer all the other points as well…
