The following: I have some concert recordings in MP4 on my laptop and would like to burn to DVD now. Drive for burning I've connected, DVD inserted and set as a DVD. Then I have the MP4 files only on the DVD on it copied and then burned all on the DVD. DVD ausm drive out, in the TV purely. Our TV gives but error message: no video files available. Can someone tell me what I did wrong / forgot. (use Windows 10) Just ask if I forgot some important info…

Which video formats can the DVD player play on TV? In this case, the MP4 must be converted or bring the same VideoDVD format.

You have a TV with DVD?

Alright, yes, yes.

First determine which formats the player can play.

Then you probably have to finalize the DVD with the burner, if you have not done that.

Presumably, you've created and burned a data DVD that your DVD player can't play.

To create a video DVD from your MP4 and burn it, you can use DVDStyler, which can also play your DVD player with certainty.

You can also copy your MP4 to a USB stick and try out if your TV can play it.

Nope, you do not have to "finalize" anything!
