USB mouse not working properly (laptop)?

I wanted to use my usb mouse for my laptop again, it jerks and is difficult to move. I also tried a different usb connection, still the same problem. Batteries are fine.

Then it's probably because of the usb connection. Can't do anything LG

Have you tried a different surface for the mouse?
