Where do you dispose of an old notebook battery?

The penny has a box with old batteries. Can you put the old battery to it?

Please do not dispose in the green boxes. They are only intended for small batteries and rechargeable batteries. In electrical stores, there are often yellow boxes for notebook batteries and other high-energy batteries. Otherwise, each recycling center accepts notebook batteries.

Would have to be on the box eigendlich on it, if they take. If not, then you can hand it in by a specialist, as long as you still have one on site, or on the local farmyard etc.
