To increase Steam VR resolution for Windows Mixed Reality glasses?

In the Windows Mixed Reality Portal, the glasses (Medion) are razor-sharp.

When I play games on Steam, both the game itself and the Steam VR menu itself are out of focus compared to the portal.

Can we adjust this someway?

Supersampling did not work, problem occurs on 2 devices (both relatively potent, graphics cards GTX 1080 on the PC and GTX 980m in the notebook)

Please go to the settings (in vr below the dashboard). You will find it on the bottom right of the gear. There under resolution / screen (may be that have changed again). The settings there are often standardized to 720p. Simply put on 1080p and the picture looks much better.

Vi

That only changes the display s.PC itself, right?

Ar

No. That is the resolution of the HMD.

what you mean may be in the steamvr settings. However, I mean the settings in vr (if you have the hmd on).

Vi

No, I changed the "in" setting of the VR goggles - and that only changes the display on the monitor (because I can choose the output monitor (I have 2))

You mean in the Steam VR menu on settings, then display and there the resolution with the note that 720p can improve the performance? That only changes the ad.

Ar

Then you have changed it and the monitor can also be adjusted. Give me 3min I make a screen of it

Ar

Jop. Is the screen resolution (stand for realeas not yet there and it had also seen that it influenced the hmd. The readability was severely affected by the 720p settings and the 1080p they were not so.

I can't judge what it is exactly. Eventually, the softwware from windows controls the hmd at full resolution while the steam software only drives the 1080p. This would be questionable because the pro has more synonymous resolution. Maybe a contact with the support would be the best choice for this problem.
