I'm currently looking for a cheap laptop with which I can use my VR glasses on the go. I would like to have a relatively large battery if possible so I can gamble a bit longer. I usually play Beat Saber or something like that.

Depends on what is favorable for you? A 400 euro laptop (new) is not enough here in any way. For VR games you need a high frame rate (at least 45 fps per eye, so the laptop must also be able to display 90 fps). And that only creates a twice as expensive laptop. For the game is already specified for minimum ne GTX 960. These graphics cards can only be found in the slightly higher range of laptops.

So I would also go the used route (even better because of the prices) but still looking for about 250 euro

I have to agree. Laptops are a bit more expensive than the standard tower even with more power. With 250 euro, you will not get far except for defective ones to repair yourself then. But if you want to pay attention to the money, what did you want to spend on the WMR? Because good VR costs just over 400 euro. If you are then in the middle range then 600-800 and above then at 1000 what is currently the Valve Index. A better picture and controller as well as tracking you get nowhere.

I already have a WMR headset (just under 1 year old, then bought for a whopping 200 euro) and would like to upgrade to the Valve Index early to mid-2020.
