My laptop is broken for months so the black screen at first after that it did not work anymore and I thought I was trying to repair it did not work (what I did: I tried to open the bottom of the laptop so the floor with the Keyboard has not worked out the screws are gone too well) and jmd wants it and wants to fix it and use it for myself and my question is
Do you have to remove the hard disk where the data is from and put in new ones or do you have to do anything on the harddrive because I have private stuff on it?
So give away / sell no. If someone exchanges the battery, he has your data. Alternative, he does it for you and loads Windows then new.
