Acer laptop case defective?

The case of my Acer laptop is defective in several places on the front and back, the laptop has neither fallen down nor was it handled roughly… Suddenly there were cracks in the case, does it look as if the plastic had tension and was torn? Sh. Pictures, I hope you can see it?

How can something like that happen? What does it cost to have the housing renewed? Or is it guaranteed? Are the data gone when the housing is replaced? If you don't let it do it, can the laptop fall apart completely at some point?

Läppi is only 1/2 year old. Not a noble device - price range ~ 200 euro

So if they renew something on the hardware (in this case on the housing), at least your data should not be lost.

But that looks very much on top of it or similar, because the break is not due to any tension in the material. You can even see clearly from where it was printed. Therefore, the world does not guarantee that.

If it's a device in the 200 euro class, this is an economic total loss. So either you live with it or you buy a new one and transfer your hard drive.
