Word file gone, is there a way?

I was writing a work and suddenly my laptop turns black and reboots. After that, my Word file was in a state like a month ago. Everything is gone. Why did that happen? Can I still do something?

If you have not cached no.

If yes.

Windows does not delete your files directly, Windows just does not make them visible anymore. You can download the free version of e.g. Download EaseUS.

This will allow you to recover 2GB of deleted data.

Did not you save the file in between? If not - forget it.

Yeah, why was not there any caching in there? If that was so important every few minutes Ctrl + S.

Little tip for the future:

Thanks, I try immediately.

However, if the file was saved more often within this month, the file is just as it was a month ago.

Thanks, but the file was saved more often. She just looks like a month ago, since then I've cached the file very often.

But then it is not understandable. Maybe there's the file in another folder again?
