I would like to know which Linux system I could make on an old laptop, I only know that it has 2 GB RAM and an old Pentium it had the old Windows Vista on it. I would need a Linux version that can be equated with Vista because it has to match the system requirements. I tried mint but that was probably too hard for him but it was also one of the newest mint versions. I appreciate any help, thanks.
You can use any distribution in principle, but you should use a lightweight desktop, such as Set Xfce or LXQt or just use a window manager like Openbox, Awesome or i3.
Basically no matter which Linux distribution, a lightweight window manager is important e.g. Xfce
Oh yes awesome and then a Windows Vista lover… Already see his despair 😂
Yeah, then maybe you take IceWM… But awesome is cool.
I didn't want to deny that, I've already tried it. Even as a developer, I gave up after a few hours and took xfce again… I'm too used to Windows

All have been given several times.
It has 2 GB of RAM and an old Pentium
It is less the distribution than the graphical interface that is important. But if the device is so old you may need a 32-bit one.
