I have a laptop that still runs well and fast, but is already stumbling with games like Minecraft. I'm currently using Windows and have thought about installing Linux in dual boot for gaming, as it runs faster on old devices.
I have 3 questions about this:
1. I still have ~ 58gb free of 118gb storage space, is that enough for Linux and two three games that do not consume more than 10gb?
2. How can I simply delete Linux again if it uses up too much memory?
3. Which Linux distribution should I install for gaming?
You shouldn't install Linux for gaming, because almost nothing runs on it. If you still want to have Linux, I would say Linux Mint - beginner-friendly, manageable size and no bells and whistles.
