I recently had the problem on an old laptop to boot a live distribution on DVD from Zorin Linux. Error message was that the processor was incompatible. I'm not sure what that could mean…
Therefore, the question: Can anyone recommend something to me? And maybe someone knows why it did not work on this laptop. I have another laptop, which also has a 32-bit processor, there Zorin LIVE from DVD.
Would be grateful for help and advice:-)

You can also install Cloudready, which is a customized Chrome OS operating system that turns any device into an ultra-fast Chromebook. This is also available as 32bit. Here is the download for 32bit:

Then unpack the ZIP. You will receive an IMG or BIN file.
Use this tool https://www.balena.io/...io/etcher/ to flash the IMG or BIN file on a blank formatted USB stick with at least 8GB.
Then boot the stick. The installer offers the possibility to completely delete the hard disk. After completing the installation and the first reboot, simply sign in with the Google Account.
The browser and the Chrome apps start without delay. In the settings of the section Plugins you can install Flash, Codecs and Widevine with just one click. Then you can also use DRM-protected content such. Maxdome, netflix, amazon video, sky go etc…
The voice controls OK Google and Google Cloud Print are also supported. All updates are fully automatic in the background.
Here's a video of what Cloudready looks like:
