Instagram account hacked?

I suspect that my instaaccount is hacked. The account is already set so that a request comes when someone follows you. And I have not shown any locations or faces. The suspicion is: I wanted to log in to my laptop but the password is wrong and I know exactly that I always use the same. At the moment it is not possible for me to change it. Suspicion number 2: I scrolled through the settings and then I see that someone with my account has registered in a completely different city. I still have my account and he has not posted any photos or anything (what do I know).

I would change the password immediately before the person changes their email address etc. It is also possible to log in via fb and then change the password.
