Unscrew it, see if you have a free dimming slot, if so then just put the ram in, then boot and if it goes, screw it back on

You can't expand Vram, but some can expand RAM

He probably means the RAM that the APU takes for itself, i.e. The normal one. There should be RAM expansion and thus the APU can also use more RAM.
