Improve laptop for Sims?

I have a laptop that I play Sims 4 on. I use CC, Mods and have a few extensions on it. Unfortunately, he no longer plays the game smoothly. So I wanted to ask: Can you somehow improve the laptop, add things or something? I don't want to buy a new one.

I don't know anything about it. But I have the Acer Aspire 5, Ryzen 5, Radeon Vega graphics. Now I've written down what I see on the laptop.

I would be grateful for any answer.

Except for the SSD / HDD and usually the RAM, nothing can be exchanged. The CPU + GPU are usually firmly soldered to such midrange laptops. And adding more RAM to the laptop for gaming can help a little, but don't rip it out.

I also have a laptop (acer aspire 3) and Sims doesn't run completely smoothly (also have Cc, mods and so on), but as far as I know that's normal. I once played Sims on a gaming PC and it was the same.

New laptop makes sense, or screw down the Sims on DLCs and optics. But then it is no longer nice to look at, as well as the content is missing, the remove DLC.
