Laptop civil engineers?

I will start studying civil engineering from WS 2019 onwards. I would like to get a suitable laptop in front of it. Can someone please advise me, which laptops are suitable for this course of study, like also touch screen to write to the university.

Only pure Mittippen in the university?

Or is there enough power for CAD? If so, which CAD program?

Or do you need a ruggedized laptop for use on the job site?

Finally, which budget is available?

So in principle you can also use a toaster for writing. Call us your budget, that will be the easiest. I can find you a 2000 Euro convertible or a 600 Euro convertible.

As I said. Budget and what you want to do with it. If you want to gamble sometimes, it needs a little more power, otherwise you can start at 500-700 Euro and will not need much more.

In engineering, it makes sense to put on a touch screen. Maximum 15.6 inches, rather 14. 8 GB of RAM and an SSD. The processor must be at least an 8-generation Intel or a Ryzen 5 2500u. Then you have a bombastic device

Why do not you even go to the UNI and ask for a semester semester or at the Student Representation (ASta, Student Council, Faculty Council)? If it can estimate one, then the higher semester.
