Where can I find the same 8GB modules from the manufacturer or should I replace these modules completely?

I want to expand the RAM of my laptop from 8GB to 16GB, because it can be overloaded quite quickly. I have already checked that my laptop can have up to 32GB RAM and has 2 slots of which only one is occupied at the moment. In one of the last questions someone gave me a tip to use exactly the same module again and I don't know where I can get the module from the brand. If I type in "Macron Technology DDR-3200 8Gb" in Google or any online shop, I never get anything. However, I find millions of other products where I can get 2x 8GB Ram modules from the same manufacturer. If the product below is not available for free purchase, can I simply buy 2x 8gb modules (or 2x 16gb modules) from another manufacturer and simply replace the existing ones?

Yes, you can just replace these. Possibly. But do you have to go into the BIOS beforehand. The probability that you will get exactly the same again to expand it is relatively low. Therefore, you should just replace it.

If necessary, you can check which clock rate CPU & Mb support & possibly get a little more performance out of it.

Always swap pair of ways and buy brand stores.

On super cheap memory, even if it says "Samsung" on it, there are often only rejects mounted that the brand manufacturer has sorted out and does not meet its quality standards.

Then customers wonder why my PC keeps crashing.

What do I have to pay attention to then? What is the standard price for 16GB modules?

fa

Thank you can you recommend something? And if I now buy any that are sold together, here are an example:

https://www.amazon.de/...0143UM4TC/

Is it then guaranteed that the two are exactly the same?

Ka

If you buy a pair, they're guaranteed to be the same. I don't know your notebook, but I think a regular bar will probably not fit? You will have to check how many pins your current bar has & then have to buy new ones accordingly. What kind of brand is relatively irrelevant. On Geizhals.de you can also compare prices so that you don't pay too much.

Doesn't every module have 260 pins? Or what do you mean with the check? I only know that the DDR3 and DDR4 modules differ from this gap below, but do they also differ from the pins? And if so, where can I see how many pins the product has when I buy it?

Ka

Most notebook RAM bars have 260, but your Corsair selected above e.g. 288 that got from a MAC 204.
