My question would be, which laptop should I acquire for the following needs:
Image editing, ie Photoshop (brighten, straighten, images)
All Office programs should be running
Programs so I can work well in web design. (Wordpress, FileZilla etc.)
So I would like to spend 500 - 700 EUR, until now I was only recommended a laptop at Media Markt with i5.
Depending on the type and quantity of VST (i), music production requires a lot of CPU power.
If you want to do that with a nice battery life, you're way above your budget.
Photo editing on such a small monitor is botch.
If you use the eh home anyway, you can take a tower immediately which also has much more power at the same price.
I5 is not wrong.
But with games, that's one thing.
i5 and 16 GB of RAM are available for about 700 euro. But only with a HD 620 Graphics. Nothing with a dedicated graphics card.
UHD 620 graphics is then around the 700 but with only 8 GB of RAM.
I would go there on Lenovo Thinkpads or Fujitsu Lifebooks.
They are then in your budget range with an i5 (7200U or 8250U), 256 GB SSD, 15 inches FullHD matt, incl Windows 10
I would leave the games on the PS4.
Yes well the gambling should not be considered large in my choice.
Is not for home.
Hmm, so with only 500-700 EUR budget you can't make big leaps.
It would make sense to have one (or more) large 21: 9 monitors, which you connect via a docking station to which a laptop hangs, this should be at least a 6-core of the current 8000 series from Intel, for example. I5-8300H (attention, those with "U" in the end are only 2-4 Kerner)
However, such workstations incl. Dock (without screens) cost about 2500 EUR plus VAT.
If you do not want to be mobile, you can do much better with a traditional desktop
