Where can you change the resolution?

I have a question and I connected my laptop to my monitor and wanted to change the resolution in NVIDIA Control Panel.

Can someone help me there? For me there's the category 3D setting.

Laptops usually used Nvidia Optimus, i.e. The fact that the dedicated GPU is only used for 3D applications on the desktop uses the IGP of the CPU, which saves performance and extends the runtime. You would have to change the resolution accordingly in the Intel driver or much easier and the normal procedure for multiple displays in the control panel under display.

Right click on the desktop and then click Customize, that should be it
