Sims 4: TV does not receive a signal after start?

I have the problem that after the start of sims 4 is a black screen and then my o.k. TV "crashes" and then there's: "no signal" What can you do about it? Me and my brother have already tried a lot, such as make out the firewall, change resolution, for sims 4 in the datas, the resolution change, etc. I'm slowly really helpless: / Can someone help me? I want to play sim 4 on the pc and not on the laptop.

The television is no longer the youngest and never been the newest (around 100 euro it has cost) in windows I have as resolution 1440x900 which is a pretty funny resolution xD My TV is synonymous not Full HD as far as I know…

How do you control the TV? About HDMI or VGA, or maybe DVI?

Which display setting (WIN + P) did you set?

ab

So with my TV are 2 HDMI cables plugged in (PC, WII U) unfortunately do not know what the other terms are: /. Display setting is on "PC screen only"

ca

Try adjusting the display setting to "Duplicate". Maybe he will get a signal then. If that does not work, try Extending.

ab

Okay, thanks, I'll try.

ca

Try that

ab

It does not work. It comes only longer the black screen and then the "no signal". In order not to have to reboot the PC I have to hold (for some reason) the Win key for a few seconds and then let go: /

ca

Only if you start Sims 4?

Try playing with others.

ab

With sims 3 it works… With all the others also play (I still have to try sims 2, I have not yet started)

ca

Can it be that it simply takes the laptop screen?

ab

I do not know how you mean that… Although I have a laptop, but it is not turned on xD

br

Then the resolution is too high.

Go to HD resolution.

ca

Only that's not really HD… But good advice.

ab

It does not work, it's just the black screen and then the "no signal". In order not to have to reboot the PC I have to hold (for some reason) the Win key for a few seconds and then let go.

br

Sorry

HD 1280 × 720

ca

But you wrote 1024x768

br

That's why "Sorry".

ca

Oops, did not read that.
sorry

ab

Does not work anyway: /

br

Then install Sims again.

ab

Habs jz managed in which I entered properties -w.

br

Well, then have fun

ab
