I bought a headset from Beyerdynamic, the MMX300 with 32 ohms. Allegedly it should be perfectly compatible with cell phones, laptops, etc. And that even without a sound card. Look for the new firmware update and please install it. You should find this directly under the manufacturer.

Realtek is also your audio output device, if you connect it then it is clear that it only shows the audio output device. How should the Windows know what is on the line out? You only see the devices themselves when it is running via USB.
