I have the following errors:
Driver error from the "WLAN" adapter
Primary DNS Server Not Responding Error
"No Internet, secured" error
"Can't connect to this network" error
Error "WLAN does not have a valid IP configuration"
I use a Wi-Fi adapter (stick to USB slot, it is from TP Link). I've tried several things:
- Uninstall the driver (and reinstall it using the supplied cd (Autorun.exe)
- Pc restarted
- Modem away from power (20 minutes)
- IP assigned manually
- Adapter settings changed
- I connected to the A1 settings or what you call where you enter 10.0.0.138 in the browser and change the channel there to a better one
- Adapter plugged into another USB slot
- About CMD:
ipconfig / renew
ipconfig / release
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
- Run network diagnostics or troubleshooting, found some of what I had listed above, but did not fix it
- Firewall, Win Defender deactivated
- Safe mode with network adapter.
Everything didn't work… I don't know what to do… I even switched from 2.4 to 5 GHz, and nothing worked. With a cell phone, laptop, television, however, the Wi-Fi is possible, so it has to do with the adapter or the PC itself, since LAN works. Please give me solutions.
What about Device Manager? Is the stick recognized correctly? For me it is so that the USB 3.0 or 3.1 ports on the mainboard and housing are no longer recognized in the Device Manager or are marked as unknown. So far I have not found a solution for.
According to your description this is due to the adapter. Unless you have entered a MAC lock in the router. You can only try the driver from the mainboard manufacturer.
I'm assuming that you took the driver from the mainboard manufacturer. This is really bad: /
Yes, but my B350 Tomahawk is a bit older now. I think update to an r7 3700x and an x570 or b450 soon
Yes it will, I also uninstalled the device from there
What about older drivers? Ever tried to install? Have you ever done a virus scan?
Yes, I have no suspicion of virenx ransomware, malware, no toxic values in the regeditor, etc… Everything fits. What older drivers do? That brings even less, sometimes it connects but then only a few kb are sent and then breaks off again…
Older drivers because, for example, it could be that an update was made automatically without you realizing it, which is incorrect. Sometimes that helped me too.
Well, I don't know why an update would be faulty. I have never heard of it, but about the adapter: I installed the driver on the CD, and the files on the CD do not change and the driver was always functional, so I don't think there's even a driver update for you Provides company for this model, and if it does, it would be nonsense to provide a CD with which you can always install the driver anywhere. Since they could have put a slip of paper saying that the driver has to be downloaded online from their website because only through a website can the customer notice that an update will follow, but they won't notice it on a CD. In any case I will try to install an older one (if there's a second one at all and then I have to see where I can get it from.
