I create a power point presentation (2016) and synchronize it via Onedrive (is for school so that I don't have to take my laptop with me and don't want to use Google Docs).
In the online app, however, the presentation looks slightly different. E.g. Are text fields too small or the slide transitions are different. So somehow the meaning of Onedrive is gone for me. I guess it's because I'm using an older version. Is there a way to fix that anyway? (Except manually)
With ner docx I would say make a PDF out of it but a Powerpoint is more difficult. You can hardly get around installing the same PowerPoint version on the other device (with the same plugins and fonts as yours). Otherwise, something will always be missing or look different. Or you take your laptop with you (I would recommend)
This probably has more to do with the PowerPoint Viewer, OneDrive itself is primarily cloud storage.
If you take your train with you for the presentation, you will also have the advertisement that you intended.
