Buying a laptop for beginners?

Hi. Question in the title. A similar question came yesterday.

I would like to buy a laptop for school purposes. I would also like to edit pictures there. One or the other game could also be there, but would not be totally decisive.

Budget 400 euro.

Possibly in a shop where you could get the laptop directly the days.

I don't want to have all the rubbish.

Lenovo is completely sufficient. Use it for university, streaming and never had any problems.

For sure? Which model?

IdeaPad. The user magicced01 sent you a link.

As an example Lenovo IdeaPad 3 for around 360 EUR. I think 1.6 kg is fine.

https://www.lenovo.com/...TO1WWDEDE0
Click "Configure"
Select operating system "FREE-DOS" (100 EUR saving)
Select "4 GB DDR4 2.667 MHz SoDIMM" (20 EUR surcharge)
Hard disk: choose "Without" (50 EUR saving)
Second hard drive: "256 GB SSD, M.2 2242, PCIe, NVMe, TLC" (10 EUR surcharge)
Screen: "35.6 cm (14.0") FHD (1,920 x 1,080), IPS, anti-reflective, 250 cd / m², without touch function "(EUR 20 surcharge)

Then you come to a price of 399.00 EUR. Then enter the coupon "WECARE10" in the shopping cart and get a price of 359.10 EUR.

Note: Since the operating system has been deselected, you still need an operating system, which you must then install yourself. You can buy Windows 10 64-bit for 17.90 EUR https://hardwarerat.de/...-64bit-key.

My HP elitebook can do everything. It should still cost 80 euro. INC 17 inch monitor Full HD

Wait for the next Aldi offer.

You don't go wrong.

Wat, 80 EUR? Is there a digit missing?

Got a B-Ware Thinkpad T60 on Ebay for a little less. I think it's really good. Parts are interchangeable, runs super stable. It's fine for photo editing.

Has a robust construction, simple design. An I5 processor, 8 GB of memory and a 256 SSD hard drive.

Because of photo editing I would get advice from designer students if they know any. Think there will be many Mac recommend.

Games of the PS3 / 360 Era are running some. For this you can check on the page Systemrequirements.com. Requirements should not be too high for the device. Notebook onboard graphics generally do not provide enough power for newer games (approx. 2005 games) if you want it to run smoothly and very well. For clean gaming with beautiful newer graphics, you can't avoid a gaming notebook (at least 800 euro) with a dedicated graphics card. Otherwise I don't think you'll get much better for your budget.

Hope could help a little. LG

It is over ten years old. It is designed for computer science. Own graphics, 17 inches.

I haven't forgotten 0. It has always remained true to me. Full HD, but only 4 GB. I once gave him a 512 SSD

I can no longer afford a notebook for 800 euro. I'm no longer a student.
