I recently bought a Windows 10 S notebook. Now I want to "switch" the notebook to Windows Home. Is that even possible or do I have to be satisfied with Windows 10 S?
Open Settings> Update and Security> Activation on the PC that is running Windows 10 in S mode.
Find the Go to Windows 10 Home or Go to Windows 10 Pro section, and then select the Go to store link.
Note
Do not select the link under Upgrade for your version of Windows. This is another process where you stay in S mode.
On the page that appears in the Microsoft Store (turn off S mode or similar), select the Download button. After confirming this action, you can install apps from outside the Microsoft Store.
