Because tesla offers more battery capacity, like the other manufacturers (currently 100kwh)

because it comes to lithium-ion batteries (by all manufacturers) deliver the 3.2-4.2 v / 30000mah - this can be easily calculated

a jaguar i-pace (90kwh) or audi e-tron (95kwh) should not have much less cells in their akkupacks - with the porsche taycan (90kwh) only the layout is different (800 instead of 400v)

ps. There are no longer any "laptop batteries" used - these were only used in the "test model" roadster 1 (2008) - (tesla's "feasibility study")
