I have a problem with my new laptop.
Yesterday I downloaded The Binding of Isaac Rebirth there on Steam. But when I start it, the window opens, but it stays white. At the same time I only hear the intro and when I click on something "no feedback". Sometimes I see the start screen for a short moment, but then it crashes again.
My laptop should be good enough to run the game. Is just new, it is the Medion Akoya P6685 and is even better on the hardware than my desktop PC (where Isaac still runs smoothly)
Several new installations and reboots did not help. I had used mods before, but after removing them, it did not work. I also installed the DLCs Afterbirth and Afterbirth +. Have read that Afterbirth + sometimes causes problems, but when I uninstalled the DLC, nothing has changed.
Other games seem to work and run normally. I'm a little clueless, does anyone know what? Is that perhaps due to drivers of the new laptop or something like that?
After a long search, I found something that has solved the problem for me.
So if somebody should have the same problem, here's what I did:
In the Nvidia Control Panel, manually set the isaac-ng.exe in the 3D settings on the integrated graphics card. Now everything works again, both the DLCs and the mods.
