Netflix is always hanging, why?

So as the title says, netflix is always with me.

I look on my laptop, other platforms like Youtube do not hang it's just netflix. (and it's not on the internet either because I can watch netflix on my phone without problems)

When I start a series / movie it happily runs for a few minutes, then it hangs (which repeats itself all the time) and I have to either fast forward 10 seconds or reload the page, which is pretty annoying. I have already tried to change the graphics settings but that does not help either.

What could it be and how can I fix it?

There can be different reasons.

Try the most common.

Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera Browser, Microsoft Edge.

This is also available as a portable solution, so you do not have to install it. Simply search for appropriate Browser + Portable and Download.

Problem still exists? Now maybe your antivirus program constantly scans the Internet packets - maybe switch it off and see if it was worth it.

Start one of the browsers in admin mode - maybe it will improve.

Try the Netflix app from the Windows 10 Microsoft Store, maybe it's better

Otherwise it could be synonymous that your calculator in the background what is loading s.z.b. Various software updates or similar.

So everything that's going on in the background, switch off and see if it's better.

There's also the possibility to increase the stream cache in Firefox as well as in the Chrome browser - this means that the stream takes longer to start because the cache buffer is loaded first, but should then run smoothly throughout.
