When I have an update on my laptop, I download it. After I downloaded it, I wanted to watch Netflix, but was then logged out of all apps. How so?
Did you just download the update or have you already installed it? These are two different steps.
It is possible that the cache and cookies will be deleted during the update and you will be logged out. Actually, that would be unusual.
