My old Fritzbox 6360 did not work anymore and I have a new one now. Have you set up and my wireless is perfect.
Have also connected directly to the box, a LAN cable with a laptop and that works well.
But when I look in another room on the PC, it says:
"ethernet does not have a valid ip configuration"
The lower left sign is this yellow triangle with a black exclamation mark.
Deactivate your network card via the device manager and activate it again.
If LAN only on this PC does not work, it will probably be on the network adapter and not on the fritzbox.
The cable is connected directly? Or is there still n dlan adapter or something in between?
I would first check the wiring. In particular, if available, the components zwzwichen such as switch or dlan bridge…
it's best to start by connecting the laptop where else the pc is connected. So you work piece by piece before you are on the router.
Next, if you do not find anything, you can even check the settings on the pc. Do you use the automatic network configuration (DHCP)?
The case is clearly due to the setting of the network adapter in the PC. The old FRITZ! Box had a different configuration of IP. So adjust the IP of the PC, preferably on automatic configuration
