Windows 7 boots and goes out after upgrading to Windows 10?

I upgraded my Windows 7 to Windows 10, it ran automatically in the background, and had made several restarts at one point, my Toshiba laptop started up, a white stripe in the top left corner and suddenly the computer shuts down and on again, this is all the time now, the fans are also very loud and it is getting hot, how can I save my data now, thanks in advance

So first I would recommend you to start your computer in safe mode.

Your computer may not meet the minimum requirements.

If nothing works anymore, just open CMD in the start help and copy the data from there to an external hard drive.

Ry

I can't get into the system just through bios

Fe

Then simply call up the console using a Windows installation medium.

Ry

As I said, I can't get into the Windows operating system at all, so how do you think I can open a console?

Fe

If you boot with a Windows installation medium, you can open the console. I assume that you have an installation medium somewhere, if not download it from another PC or something… Best look here: https://www.windows-faq.de/2017/05/12/eingabeaufforderung-beim-setup-vom-windows-10-aufrufen/

Ry

But I can't boot either on a stick, CD or directly on the hard drive?

Fe

You should always be able to boot. The best way to do this is to watch tutorials on YouTube on how to boot from a Windows installation medium and then go to Startup Help and then Open Console.

Ry

Yes I understand, I know how to boot on the stick, but my laptop shows a white bar in the top left and after this appears, my laptop shuts down and starts up again, this goes on continuously, even if I use my USB stick as no. If you select 1 in the boot menu, the problem persists

Fe

What's on the USB stick?

Ry

Windows 7

Did you make the USB stick bootable? Could it be that you unpacked the wrong one? So e.g. Got the ISO file on the USB stick? If so, make the USB stick bootable and unzip the ISO archive so that the Windows 7 files are there.

Ry

Yes I did exactly as you said, made the stick bootable manually and unpacked the win7 iso and copied it onto the stick, but unfortunately it didn't work!
