I have had the problem since today that my laptop no longer reacts at irregular intervals (5-20 min) for some time (1-2 min) and then either works again or crashes with a blue screen (error: DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION). According to Google, updating the SSD / drive driver should help here, but the drivers are up to date for me. Does anyone know what to do there?
Look in the Event Viewer (Control Panel) in the "Windows Logs" section for messages that were entered at the time of the crash.
With these error messages you can then go on a more targeted search.
So around the time of the first crash (I did not notice the time exactly), a bunch of entries are marked as errors, with the ID 5002 and the source "Netwtw04" ("Malfunction of the network adapter was detected"), at the 2nd war it exactly like that. But I can hardly imagine that it has anything to do with it. Otherwise it just says that the system was shut down unexpectedly. The third time it says that the system was restarted due to a serious error. The path to a file (MEMORY.DMP) is also given there, and I can upload it if necessary.
So in the column for "level" there's only "error" for both, no idea if you mean that. I google the IDs.
Well, it took a while (I'm currently in school [online]), but so far I haven't found anything really helpful with the IDs. But I found a portable app with which you can open the DMPs, apparently ntoskernel.exe (address 3f5c50) is responsible for it, that doesn't help either.
