Kali linux CD drive is not recognized correctly?

I installed Kali linux on my notebook yesterday which has a CD drive it is also recognized but I can somehow not play any of it properly.

How do you play wrong?

For example, as a Linux beginner using a distribution that is not suitable for beginners and then is also surprised that the installation CD for * any Windows program / game * does not work as expected.

Would almost (but only almost) bet that this or at least something similar is here. ^^
